Goodbye Singledom

I am elated to report that I am no longer single. It is funny how when you chase after something so hard it always eludes you but when you wait patiently it comes and sits on your shoulder. I had reached a stage in my life where I was not searching for a boyfriend or significant other. Actually I was along a journey of personal rest and renewal. Well, God totally plopped a boy into my life. It was such a shock to me that I didn't even recognize that I was being asked on a date by a very cute boy. Sean is 26 years old and in the same missions program as me. We have known each other for about a year and engaged in friendly conversation. I agreed to help him with an interview for one of his classes. We had so much fun laughing at each other and talking. He kept telling me that we would have to hang out sometime. I was very much excited about that because I was always up for more friends to hang out with and do stuff with. Abilene can be a little boring. It totally went over my head when he said "can I take you out to breakfast?" It was not till later that it dawned on me that I had been asked out on a date. After our breakfast date, we went on a few more dates before officially becoming girlfriend and boyfriend. Whawhooo!

Under the Weather

This is a post in response to my lil' sister getting after me about not putting up new posts. Not alot is going on in my world right. I spent pretty much all day yesterday in the confinement of my cottage. Yep, I am sick, some might say sicker then a dog, although I don't totally understand that reference. I spent two hours in the doctors office. They gave me a breathing treatment so that I could breath and then they tested me for asthma. The doctor says that I have mild to moderate episodic asthma. This means that at certian times of the year when it is cold or I get a cold I develope asthma. That came as surprise to me. Now they have me all drugged up and I am on my way to feeling better. For the first time in a few days I can breath. I just want to feel better.

That's Me

Since I had a hard time discribing myself here is my visual DNA!

Two Peas in a Pod

My Sister has been telling me to get a blog for along time now. I finally gave in and this is a product of our team work. She assures me that I don't have to be very good at writing to have a blog. We will see. Katherine got all the writing genes in the family. I am the photographer. I see my world through my camera lens. If you don't enjoy looking at pictures with little writing then this is not the spot for you. You might check out my sisters site instead. I look forward to sharing with you those people and things I hold dear to my heart. Thanks for stopping by. God bless.
